Even if you are not a compatible match for blood type you can still help me to find a matching livingkidney donor by donating a kidney under the UK Living Kidney Sharing Scheme (UKLKSS).
I am a retired man and live in London, United Kingdom. I am married and I am a father of 3 children. I have been diagnosed with Stage 5 kidney failure which means that my kidneys are severely damaged and have stopped doing their job to filter waste from my blood. I am currently on dialysis 3 times per week, which has significant challenges and impacts my quality of life but it is keeping me alive for now. I urgently need a livekidney donor with blood type A positive so I can receive a kidney transplant. It is urgent largely because of my age and if I am to receive a transplant it must be sooner rather than later to help me survive. I would be so grateful to reinstate normality back in my life so I can spend quality timewith my wife and children.I would also very much like to meet my future grandchildren and be a part of their lives.I still have a lot to offer my children, wife and community and I need a live donor to help me achieve this.
1) Blood type A+
2) Healthy with no diseases
3) Pass initial suitability testing for a kidney donor set by the NHS kidney transplant unit (full details can be provided to you).
